Our bakeries produce the finest products with the highest possible standards in quality and food safety
Operating every day, we employ more than 80 staff at our West Road Bakery facility. We have come a long way from our first Bakery, but still use the same principles used by Campbell Maclean all those years ago. We have made significant investment within our baking facility to maintain those principles.

Sweet & Savoury Biscuits
Each of our family recipes, have been perfected over four generations. We carefully select a unique blend of quality, simple ingredients, then allow a generous time for mixing and a slow bake, to create a range of products, packed full of flavour and taste.
Breads Rolls
Our variety of bread rolls are made the traditional way and are a perfect larger size, for all occasions. Campbell Maclean, our co-founder, crafted each recipe, over 45 years ago and whilst much has changed, in the Bakery since, each bread rolls continues to have just the right mixing and baking time, to produce a golden crust, yet keep a soft, light centre. Simple, filling, and tasty.
Wastles, Muffins & Pancakes
Freshly and hand baked, our wastles, muffins and pancakes are just that little bit better. We still bake our muffins on a hotplate, creating a darker crust and soft, light, tear able, middle. Simply layer with tasty fillings or toast, allowing all their nooks and crannies to fill up with delicious flavour.
Savouries
Our family favourite, award winning pies and sausage rolls are generously filled with a range of our own flavoursome fillings and encased in a crisp, crust case. Each a source of immense pride for the Macleans family, revealing the care that goes into each one. From our traditional Scotch Pie to our modern special edition’s flavours, there truly is a savoury for everyone.
Sweet Treats
Our onsite Confectioners use carefully selected ingredients and flavours to produce a range of handcrafted sweet treats. Our award-winning luxury Carrot Cake, uses the finest ingredients, ensuring a creamy velvety texture and an irresistible flavour of sweet, freshly grated carrots and cinnamon spice. Enjoy as a tasty treat or share with family and friends.
